Simão Zacarias -Responsible Seafood Summit

Simão Zacarias, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Institute of Aquaculture attended the Responsible Seafood Summit on October 21-24 in St Andrews – Scotland, United Kingdom. He gave a presentation on “The Paths to Viable Alternatives to Shrimp Eyestalk Ablation” to the global audience. The topic of his presentation was associated to his PhD research work which led him to win the 2020 Global Aquaculture Innovation Award. He finally managed to collect his AWARD at the event because back in 2020 it was Covid-19 time when there were lockdowns and no in-person events were held
