UK Research and Innovation and Innovate UK have announced a funding oppourtunity for women-led projects that “make a significant contribution to a pressing societal, environmental or economic challenge”. Individual 1-year grants are available for up to £50,000 for women in senior roles at UK micro, small, and medium enterprises, and includes mentorship, training and business support.
This remains a prospect for women in the aquaculture industry to lead the way for ground-breaking research and development.
