On Wednesday 2nd March 2022, the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee at the IoA gave a lunchtime seminar on the EDI activities and updates for the second quarter of the academic year. Updates included the new website, upcoming activities and training sessions, the Athena Swan gender charter, and the National Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Hub.

As mentioned during seminar, the IoA is currently in the process of renewing its Athena Swan Bronze Award for the period 2019-2024. A follow-up survey is linked here to gauge the institute-wide interest in pursuing the Athena Swan award and joining the Self-Assessment Team who will be responsible for this.
